Welcome to GajaPuri, a peaceful retreat crafted for those who seek nature, calm, and comfort.
Its name, meaning “Elephant’s Empire” in Sanskrit, reflects a place thoughtfully built by travelers, for travelers. Nestled on Kai Bae Beach in the heart of Koh Chang, this cozy boutique resort offers a quiet escape where nature and comfort meet.
From the elevated wooden walkways and tropical gardens to the beachfront cottages, every detail was thoughtfully designed and built with care — guided by a love for design, hospitality, and heartfelt service. We’ve kept the resort intentionally low-density, leaving space to breathe, move, and simply be — surrounded by nature, not crowds.
Many of our team members come from the local community and have grown with us through the years. Their sincerity and care are what make this place feel like home — not only for returning guests, but for people from all identities and backgrounds who feel safe, seen, and warmly welcomed here.

Rooms
This generous villa features two separate bedrooms in individual wooden cottages, set within a lush garden. The large deck includes sun loungers, a dining table, and your own private pool with jacuzzi , ideal for families or friends traveling together.
Inspired by our larger villa suites, this standalone wooden cottage offers a peaceful retreat for couples or solo travelers. Tucked within lush greenery, it features a spacious deck, private pool, and built-in jacuzzi — perfect for unwinding in nature.
Just three rooms, each set directly on the beachfront, with uninterrupted sea views and the sound of waves just steps away. A spacious 46 m² layout (including the deck) features private sunbeds and a coffee table — perfect for morning coffee or quiet sunset moments.
With 46 m² of total space (including the outdoor deck), each unit blends natural charm with quiet comfort. Crafted with wood and softened by gentle lighting, the interiors feature a thoughtful layout, including a separate bathtub and shower. Outside, enjoy your own private sitting area and sunbed on the spacious deck.
Tucked among lush greenery, these cottages share the same crafted design as our Beachfront and Sea View rooms — just without the ocean view. With 44 m² of total space, they feature natural wood interiors, soft lighting, and a warm, comfortable layout.
Tucked into the lush back area of the resort, our 50 m² Superior Rooms feature private wooden decks with sun loungers — overlooking the rainforest, pond, or pool, depending on the cottage location. Designed for adults (16+), these newer units reflect a simpler, quieter side of GajaPuri.
At 70 m² of indoor space, this is our largest unit — designed for families who want to stay together in comfort. It features two connecting bedrooms with two king-size beds and one single bed, ideal for up to 5 adults.
Designed for small families or close friends, this room type fits up to 3 adults comfortably within a warm, natural setting. It features a king-size bed, an extra single bed (which doubles as a sofa bed if not fully occupied).
Designed for two, this one-of-a-kind unit offers a true glamping experience — a real tent with a king-size bed, warm wood furnishings, and your own private outdoor bathroom. Step out to an open-air shower and toilet area, surrounded by nature and breeze.
