Tucked into the peaceful sands of Kai Bae Beach on the western side of Koh Chang, GajaPuri feels worlds away — yet is just 20 minutes from the island’s main ferry pier. Here, you’ll find a crafted wooden village surrounded by rainforest-covered hills, beach, and the quiet rhythm of tropical island life.
Just outside our gates, a relaxed stretch of local eateries serves up comforting favorites — Thai, Italian, Spanish, and more. You’ll also find a convenience store and small shops — all at the unhurried pace of Koh Chang.

Where Are We, Exactly?
Koh Chang (literally “Elephant Island”) lies in the eastern Gulf of Thailand — part of Mu Ko Chang National Park, Thailand’s second-largest island group.
Lush, scenic, and protected by national park status, it’s one of the country’s most naturally preserved islands, home to waterfalls, jungle trails, and calm, clear waters.
Getting Here
From Bangkok (by Car or Private Van)
- 5–6 hours drive (350 km) to Ao Thammachat Pier in Trat Province.
- Car ferry from Ao Thammachat to Ao Supparod Pier on Koh Chang (runs every 30–45 mins, 25 min crossing)
- 20 minutes drive from Koh Chang pier to GajaPuri

- 1-hour flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport by Bangkok Airways please check www.bangkokair.com, (offer 2 flights/day or 3 flight a day in high season)
